- Go Old-School
If you want to ask serious questions, you need to encourage them to call, not just send an email. We learned this hard from 50+ emails/day that we only asked: “how much for a website”. We’ve found that it’s almost always a waste of time to respond to this type of search, so why not eliminate it if you can?
Check the hide in the ‘Reply’ field when creating ads. Then, display your phone number significantly in the ad. You can also include a clickable image that links to your website and create a contact form that requires a name and phone number. So, if a visitor wants to contact you, they have 2 options: call or fill out the contact form on your site. These strategies help eliminate non-critical searches. Remember, it’s about quality, not quantity.

When creating our ads, we first think of a bank of keywords using tools like Google Keyword Tool and Wonder Wheel.
